Supporting Future Public Health Leaders: Mentorship, Internships, & Capstone Projects

At Public Health Behavior Solutions, while our primary focus is public health, we also incorporate neuroscience and psychology to enhance program design and effectiveness. Additionally, we work with public policy to support the implementation and scaling of health initiatives. We collaborate with students across multiple disciplines—public health, neuroscience, psychology, and public policy—at various stages of their academic journeys.

We offer flexible, impactful opportunities to develop skills and contribute to innovative solutions that bridge scientific discovery with practical application. Our goal is to empower students to become leaders in community health and behavioral science and enable them to make meaningful, real-world contributions to health and well-being.

Internship Program: Preceptor for Public Health Interns
As a preceptor organization, we offer valuable hands-on internship experiences for students pursuing careers in public health, neuroscience, psychology, and related fields. Interns work directly with our multidisciplinary teams on research, program development, and community initiatives—gaining practical skills and mentorship throughout their experience.

We actively involve neuroscience and psychology students to demonstrate how their work can be applied in real-world public health practice, including areas such as injury and violence prevention, disease prevention, and health promotion. This program is designed to empower students to translate scientific insights into impactful public health strategies, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and practical application.
What Interns Gain:
